Fresh air ~ new life

It's a new year coming...this means new life too.
It's again time for [some] resolutions and the good will to keep them going.

I'd like to start this year's post in here by sharing the picture I took in the morning, while I was so appreciative with how amazing life can be, when we think it may no longer able to resist, it is in there, ready to surprise us.
I'm so very happy for these 3 little plants, that were one of my faves last year. They were almost "gone" due to the severe cold nights in the past weeks of this winter.

I'm so glad they made it.

"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him."

Day of thoughts - retrospective of 2011

As we're almost stepping into the new year of 2012, I'd love to share in here my feelings of a huge gratitude, thankfulness and love by achieving one of the biggest dreams of lifetime. Our newly built and cozy house now we called truly : "HOME, SWEET HOME".

There are so many ongoing and new ideas to flourish and upcoming projects to make and create!
I'm so happy and excited!

“Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise."
Nehemiah 9:5b

Have a wonderful year of 2012, may you and yours be blessed all the way!

Peaceful Night 2011-12-24

It's that wonderful time again by remembering the birth of the special Child in that cold yet peaceful night, thousand years ago.
It's amazing how after all these years, this Baby's birthday still is the most memorable and celebrated one among the humankind.
I'm so glad to be one among the millions to call Him friend and Big Brother.

And because You are so sweet and love us so much, I want to Thank You for being YOU.

Happy Birthday, JESUS.

Starting the month...most wonderful time of the year

Hello,December!

Love, love December with all the splendor and sparks that is just its own, plus the spirit of celebration around Christmas and my son's birthday.

While I'm also in "fancy motion" about the temptations of holiday sales, getting busier with our moving and looking around for possible pieces of furniture and home decor items, I want to keep myself aware that the true goodness is not just about shopping but the beautiful meaning of season's feeling of LOVE and PEACE.

Special thankfulness goes to our church and the preschool that we appreciate deeply. This year has been awesome with our little one going to "school" for the very first time and having so much fun not mentioning learning lots of new words - yes, I'm always is awe everytime he says some new and unexpected words!
:)

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction."
Prov. 1:7

Let's capture the essence of Christmas and celebrate the season with lots of love,

01012011

New Year. New thoughts. New ideas.
All linked by an old dream: blogging and posting in manageable and creative ways.

One of the biggest challenges in my routine right now.

Bless the heart of all of us who want to keep our heart, soul and mind in coordination and still filled with imaginative creativities.

Happy 2011,

Lya

BACK TO THE LOVE

Love
1If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,b]" style="font-size: 0.75em; line-height: 0.5em; ">[but have not love, I gain nothing.
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
9For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.
11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.
12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
(I Co 13)

And nothing is more relevant than LOVE in our lives.
(Little note to you...Say "Love you" to someone today)

Be bold and fearless

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

2 Timothy 1:7

I was once a little girl with lots of fears. Not knowing God as Father and Provider, I was always in doubts and living without confidence. I needed to be strong but didn't know how.
Then HE found me. And I know even though I'm still struggling with new and old fears, God is always with me.
That's what really counts.

And I'm forever grateful.
